Hair care routine;

Hello! :) I really wanted to share my hair care routine. I am always getting asked how I get my hair to grow so long so quickly! Since I have changed my hair care routine my hair has NEVER been so healthy or grew so fast. I actually enjoy styling it and LOVE how I have less frizzys. Here it is.... I want to start by saying I wash my hair TWICE a week. Sometimes only ONCE. I know you're probably thinking ew! &that its gross. but ideally you need to train your hair. Your hair gets so oily because of you washing it every day or every other day. By you washing your hair so often you are stripping your hair of its natural oils. So by training I mean try to go an extra day without washing it. And keep expanding the time frame each wash. Once you get down to once or twice a week you will notice a dramatic GOOD change in your hair. Second of all DO NOT apply heat to your hair every single day. That is a huge NO NO! Try to only apply heat a few times a week if needed and only use ONE heat source. Meaning, don't blow dry your hair then curl it. Let your hair air dry if possible. And if you do use a heat source always apply a heat protectant. When I am going to wash my hair I first apply the coconut oil all over my hair and I let it sit in as long as possible. The coconut oil acts as a deep condition/moisturizer for hair which it is s important to get your ends and the middle of your hair that being the oldest part of your hair. Then ANYTIME I wash my hair I ONLY apply shampoo to the roots of my hair. I hate when I see those commercials on TV with the girls putting the shampoo all over there head. Shampoo has sulfates which will also strip your hair of the natural oils & that's not good. So remember only your roots. Plus as you wash it out the shampoo will hit the rest of your hair. I then condition my hair from the ends to the roots. I try not to apply a lot to my roots because that makes my hair greasy. Once I completely towel dry my hair; meaning, its just a little damp I apply a leave in conditioner. Lastly, I get a hair cut once every six months no more then that. & That's it. I promise you will love the results.
